Brilliant friendly warm welcome when we arrived this after. The room was clean as a whistle and it's exactly as the advert states. Perfect for what we needed it for. would definitely stay again. Just the location was a bit far from where I needed to be but that's my error. Not the hotels

Great location for a budget stay. A reasonable £84 for 2 people, 2 nights over illuminations and late night pleasure beach riding weekend. Characteristic building within the foxhill area of blackpool. Walking distance from all amenities, Tram stops, tower, food. Warm shower. Slept well. Felt safe. Rooms secure. Lovely hosts. Will be returning. Thank you.

It Was Amazing, I love the beautiful smell of death and you enter the fine establishment. Tina, a shock at first but u soon get used to that persistent gaze of confusion from her. Also the bar was packed will life and was very busy, although I must say, I was the only human, the rest were rats, the ensuite had a window in the wall so she could peek on you whilst ur doing your business,Every room with a view of the Blackpool waters, because every room had a leak, and the facilities here were amazing from the pool (table with no triangle ) And Olympic size woman that greets you on arrival, and I must say my sleep was divine, all 2 minutes of it, until I was awoke by the window caving in thanks to hurricane Norman - I mean who doesn’t love lying in bed to the sound of the elements outside whaling away as you are warmed by the very small £1 radiator in the corner of the room, Truly the Best Blackpool has to offer, and if your looking for a quick getaway, (coz you’ve just robbed a bank) Tina’s always got your back!! I mean for the price of only £30 and 1 Tina, You could stay here!!

Hidden gem of Blackpool!! Tina, Darren and family are so friendly, down to earth and can't do enough to help. We've been here since Tuesday and loved every minute of it. Lovely room, food and friendship at brilliant prices. Unfortunately checking out on Sat but will be back 110% To those who have left bad reviews after watching 4 in a bed, how can you judge a place after 23 minutes of edited TV. The real experience has no comparison. Try it and see!

Ignore the fake and horrible reviews. Don’t bother making a review if you’ve not actually been. My boyfriend booked this hotel because it was cheap and a hot weekend, I instantly came to google to check the reviews and was horrified. I Caused an argument between us because I didn’t want to go so much. I was terrified at the shared bathroom idea. When we got there, the reception/ and dining room area was decorated with lots of fun sculptures like Lego sculptures- like a man caves dream. I imagine the youngest son probably made these (very cute- no offence if it was the dad! Haha) Nice little area for brew making too. After handing us the key and welcoming us the female owner/manager went into the private area but we heard her doggies and my boyfriend being the animal lover he is of course asked to meet them so she let him meet the 2 small Doggies and he was made up after that. The room was very clean, had its own sink so I could brush my teeth without having to go in the shared bathroom and the bed was very spacious. Speaking of the shared bathroom: it was the best it could’ve been, cleaned very regularly and smelt of fabulosa snow angel which is if you don’t know -is the best cleaning scented product I have personally ever smelt. Had more than one sink too, just fyi. We spent the full day out so didn’t have much more interaction that day but in the morning when me and my boyfriend went for a brew downstairs and the little included continental breakfast for our hungover heads before leaving, they set up the table for us right away even though we were early, but we couldn’t get up off the couch haha so instead the lovely woman put a little plate together for us and brought it over, laughing with us. Which to me was the complete opposite of the nasty picture painted of her on the comments above from people who haven’t met her. I felt I had to do this long review just as a way to cure my guilt for how much I really didn’t want to go etc. I’m not saying it’s a 5 star but it’s definitely worth more than a 2 star. Would definitely return. Thank you :)

Since I met my Partner in 2015 and on our second trip in 2016 we decided to try the Foxhall Village Guest House. We got on so well with Tina and Darren and their kids that we have been coming back to the same place every year. We have made some good friends and would not go anywhere else to stay. Everything is on the doorstep and Tina does indeed give wonderful sightseeing tips and the breakfast is excellent.
